You Are Oekaki
it's been a year already since the events of 9/14… time goes fast when you're having fun…
here's an update on what we've been up to in the OEKAKI HQ for the last year and what we are still working on… for YOU ! 🐾
☆ Kaijukaki ☆
kaijukaki is the biggest "big team project" we have ever done. this art project is the main focus of our team right now. we're not announcing the release date for it currently as even though we've spent over a year of work and evolution on creating it we still feel it's too early to pick a very specific release date that we then must release by.
kaijukaki is the boy art collection of all boy art collections. as a slice of life art collection, it touches on and captures every feeling boys have from carefree summer adventure to ultimate fantasy battle heroes. there is something for everyone in kaijukaki!
after kaijukaki is released, we plan to focus most of our attention on building up our foundational properties with games, dedicated destination sites, and media so that the whole world can learn to love them too.
more will be announced for kaijukaki when it is time.
☆ MONOKURO ☆
this year we released monokuro from the artist puriririririri.
puriririririri is working very hard on what's next for monokuro!
puriririririri's art has recently been featured in the "VISIONS 2026 ILLUSTRATORS BOOK" from Pixiv, which is currently available for pre-order and will be release September 19th!

☆ CATA ☆
early this year, we released Pixelady Maker CATA. with CATA, the main goal of it was to reward previous Pixelady holders, and these people got very generous free mints. we also wanted to have a place at the table at Abstract, and our efforts have been rewarded as CATAs seem to give very good XP if you have them in an AGW (the wallet you create on the abstract portal at abs.xyz). many in our community have been able to get to Gold tier just from having CATAs! we shall see how this plays out in the future…
pixelady is very important to us to support and develop further. stay tuned!!!
btw. there are some prizes we have not sent out yet still! they will be sent at the right time…
☆ LACN ☆
earlier this year, ddudungddu joined Oekaki Connect and LAZY ARCANA CHAN has become an art collection officially supported by Oekaki Connect. ddudungddu is a talented artist and has created many amazing key art pieces for us before. ddudungddu is working with us to create top tier art for many of our upcoming media projects so please look forward to seeing them!
☆ Oekaki.io + Games ☆
we've been working diligently to build a platform that can host everything we want to do in the future. not just for games, but a new oekaki bbs experience, our own chat community, and a writing publishing platform too. as we worked and iterated, our vision has really crystalized into something amazing..!
games are challenging to make, and the team has already learned some valuable lessons on the process of what it takes to make good games. we feel it's very important we release good games that are exciting to not just to our existing audience but gamers around the world, and so we'll keep working on our projects for as much time as they need.
our primary focus for games are our pixcadia line of games. we'll be releasing them like this:
- smaller project, focused, completely "offline" game that can easily be distributed onto platforms like consoles
- medium project, optionally online, multiplayer
- biggest project, fully online, more added to over time
our hope is that these stepped projects will enable us to build each game on top of each other in a way while also releasing them in reasonable amounts of time.
we've already invested a lot into pixcadia, and still it does need more time and effort put into it so we thank everyone for their patience.
once kaijukaki is released, more of the artists on our team will be focusing more on making assets for the future games we have in mind to make!
☆ Oekaki Merch ☆
the tariffs this year did slow down some of our plans for new merch. but we're not stopping our merch initiatives, we will continue selling our stock and continue putting 100% of the proceeds back into future products and development.
however, we are thinking that we should focus more on brand building for larger audiences for our projects before we invest too heavily in merch production more. for example, we want to be able to release a game that we know is great, that many people will love, and then have new merch ready to release at the same time.

☆ Oekaki Contests ☆
since 9/14 last year, we held approximately 10 art contests… with multiple winners each ! we gave away TONS of prizes, totaling… umm i don't want to think about how much .. (´·ω·｀)
☆ OCSF 2025 ☆
this year's OCSF in July we had a whole month of fun and creative events including meme contests, game night, turntables, and usual art contests.. we love hanging out and seeing what everyone contributes to the contests!
here are some art highlight's from this year's OCSF:
☆ OC x Chiffon x LDF ☆
this month, Oekaki will be helping sponsor an event for the first time, CHIFFON X London Design Festival 'Save Me!! Internet Angel' exhibition and market. CHIFFON MAGAZINE is the largest j-fashion and art magazine in the UK, and there will be an Oekaki Connect merch booth apart of the small curated marketplace.
at this event there will also be a multimedia art exhibition with (~40) local and international artists, along with alternative film screenings & more.
being involved in events around the world is one of our new plans to bring the world of Oekaki to the physical landscape, connect with many of you, and welcome new people into Oekaki.. where should we try to go next? If you or someone you know is hosting a cool event, let us know!

everything we have been working on over the years since OC was founded has been building up to a big idea… a big tent of creative ideas and art… a universe of art and community which we can all participate in building and benefit from… oekaki is YOU !
